No hidden fees!
These are the potential fees associated with renting a Microfridge. Each student may incur one of these fees depending on their specific circumstances, if any.
- Damaged or Missing unit: $395.00
- Cleaning fee (if you opt’d for cleaning insurance, this fee will not apply): $50.00
- Unit pick-up fee: $40.00
- Cancelation fee: $0.00 – $40.00
- Failure to notify of room change: $25.00
If your order is placed before or by August 17th, 2026 your Minifridge Unit will be delivered inside of your room prior to your arrival.
Any order placed after August 17th, 2026 can expect delivery within 7-10 business days after move-in has concluded.
Microfridge® Refund Policy
MicroFridge® units can be refunded if a student cancels the order before the unit is delivered. Once the unit has been delivered, a partial refund is available if the cancellation occurs within two weeks of the student moving in, though a $40.00 pick-up fee will be deducted. If the unit has been in the student’s possession for two weeks or more, it becomes nonrefundable.
If you need to cancel your rental before the end of the year, please reach out to us at info@uandss.com. It is important that you inform us if you are planning to leave or move to a different location, as this will help prevent any issues with your unit becoming unaccounted for.
The account holder is fully financial responsibility for the rental equipment until it is returned to USS in proper condition.
- Fridge Additional Insurance: $24.99
- This insurance covers all damages, broken parts, and missing items upon pick-up except a missing microwave plate.
- This coverage does not cover a dirty unit.

- Fridge Cleaning Service: $24.99
- Opt-in to avoid a possible $50.00 cleaning fee! Just unplug your MicroFridge® or Minifridge, take all of your personal items out and we will clean it upon pick-up at the end of your rental term!
Please note that our policy does not permit split payments, as one individual must be responsible for the equipment.
This is a yearly rental, which means that it will remain in your student’s possession for the entire academic year. It is important to note that if your student decides to leave or move rooms, it will be their responsibility to manage the rented unit accordingly. This means financial responsibility will follow the student/parent who ordered the rental.
