We are pleased to offer the convenience of having your students’ items placed directly in their rooms prior to move-in. Please be aware that each package you ship incurs a fee of $55 to USS. This fee is separate from any shipping costs, so we encourage you to verify rates with your chosen shipping carrier. You can register for as few as one package or as many as ten packages.
If you are unsure of how many items you may want to register, go ahead and register for at least one. When the customer identification label email releases, you can print off as many as you need at that time. After our deadline date of August 26th, 2026 we will confirm the total number of packages you have sent and adjust the charges on your account accordingly.
Customer Identification Label Release: August 12th, 2026
Shipping Window: August 12th, 2026 – August 24th, 2026
Deadline to Receive: August 26th, 2026 *No exceptions
Each package you ship must include two labels:
A shipping label from your selected carrier (FedEx or UPS) USPS IS NOT recommended in the IL area
A customer identification label provided by USS via email on August 12th, 2026.
Packages missing either label may be rejected and returned to sender.

What is the Customer Identification Label & How do I get it?
This label is provided by USS via email, and must be on each box alongside your shipping label. It enables us to identify delivery locations on campus and includes the shipping address to be used for your shipping label with UPS or FedEx.
The customer identification label will be made available on a designated date, which you can find on the shipping window tab. This label will be sent to you via email, along with detailed instructions for your reference.
When do you deliver the packages to my room?
After receiving of your items, they will be securely stored for a brief period before being delivered directly to your room ahead of your move-in date. Your student does not have to be present for the delivery of these packages.
We will verify your students housing assignment with the University to ensure the packages are delivered to the correct location.
What does the Additional Insurance Cover?
*The optional $19.95 insurance coverage is designed to protect against any damages caused by USS personnel. Please note that this coverage does not extend to any potential damages incurred during transit to our facility.
What if I ship more or less than I registered for?
After the deadline has passed, we will process charges or refunds based on the number of packages received. Should we not receive any boxes from you, a full automatic refund will be issued after the deadline which can be viewed below.
Do You Provide the Boxes?
No, we do not provide shipping boxes or shipping labels. You must use your own boxes, suitcases, or duffle bags.
Each box/item must weigh under 50lbs.
What if my package(s) arrives after the deadline?
Late packages will be rejected and returned to sender without exception.
Can I drop my packages off to you instead of shipping them via UPS or FedEx?
We do not allow parents or students to drop items off. No exceptions.
Can I ship directly from a store?
Boxes cannot be shipped directly from third-party vendors, including Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, and Amazon.
I will be living Off-Campus / Greek Housing, Can I use this Service?
This service is not available for off-campus or greek life.
