Water Service at Tulane University
Deadline to have your water in your room when you move in. Don't wait!
At Tulane University, we offer a convenient service designed to meet your needs. By prepaying for a set number of water jugs (which includes a top-load water cooler!), you can benefit from our weekly pickup options. Feel free to collect as many water jugs as you require from our water truck stationed on campus. Please be aware that if you go over your prepaid water plan, an additional fee will be charged for each extra jug(s) you take. For more information, please view our tabs above or our FAQ’s below.
Prepaid Plan Options:
– 4 Jugs/month + Cooler Rental (16 Jugs for the semester)
– 5 Jugs/month + Cooler Rental (20 Jugs for the semester)
Order by July 25th, 2026 to ensure your unit is pre-loaded into your dorm room! Any orders placed after July 25th, will have to pick up their equipment from the water truck or water tent.

Accepting the terms and conditions at checkout indicates to USS that you consent for any *applicable* fees not specifically covered by the insurance to be charged to the card on file automatically.
We will contact you personally if there are any problems with the card on file.
At Tulane University, we offer a service that is designed with your convenience in mind. You won’t need to adjust your current water plan. You will enroll in a pre-paid jug plan, which includes either 4 jugs per month (totaling 16 jugs per semester) or 5 jugs per month (totaling 20 jugs per semester). Should you exceed your pre-paid jug allotment, an additional charge of $15 per jug will apply to the card for each extra jug picked up.
If your order is placed before or by July 25th, 2026 your water cooler and jugs will be delivered inside of your room prior to your arrival.
Any order placed after July 25th, 2026 will have to pick-up the cooler and jugs from the water truck.
Cooler + Water Jug Plans:
- All Water Cooler + Jug plans are entitled to a full refund prior to the install.
- If the equipment is returned after the equipment has been installed, there is a $40.00 refurbish fee deducted from your refund.
- No refunds or adjustments for water reductions
- Unused jugs that have already been delivered or picked up are not refundable.
The optional $9.99 insurance covers any damages to the cooler while in your students possession. It also covers any theft of up to (2) jugs. While theft is not a common issue we face, it does cover the replacement jugs should this occur.
Please note that our policy does not permit split payments, as one individual must be responsible for the equipment.
Unfortunately, we are unable to access the halls or rooms once students have moved into the university. To ensure that students have ample opportunities to collect their water jugs and coolers, we are present on campus weekly aside from possible holiday and school closures.
The jugs are sized at 3 gallons to make it easier on the students since they must transport the jugs to and from the water truck to their dorm.
